Guide to Becoming a Smart Village

This guide is aimed at people who represent or support rural communities aspiring to become “smarter.” It is also intended for those who wish to gain a better understanding of the concept of smart villages. It is the result of two years of intensive work with rural communities across Europe within the framework of the First Preparatory Action on Smart Rural Areas in the 21st Century (Smart Rural 21).
