Como Pez en Bicicleta: A Cultural Meeting and Creative Space

Zuriñe and Ignacio are a couple of artists who, after many years of traveling and working across Europe, decided to settle in a rural area to develop their life project. Following the pandemic and the birth of their first daughter, they created the Como Pez en Bicicleta center in Galbárruli—a small village of just 70 inhabitants in La Rioja Alta. The center serves as a space for cultural exchange and artistic creation, hosting artist residencies and training workshops, and promoting social mediation and the enhancement of the local territory, enabling residents to stay connected with their community, nature, and surrounding landscape.
