Rural Radicals

Rural Radicals is a transnational initiative that revitalizes rural areas through creative entrepreneurship and the creation of cultural spaces. It supports the adaptive reuse of vacant buildings and promotes collaboration between urban creatives and rural communities. The project, implemented in five countries, combines participatory design, political engagement, and knowledge exchange. Its hybrid funding model and practical methods make it sustainable both financially and environmentally. The initiative has created an expanding European network of rural cultural centers, influencing local policies and inspiring replication on a larger scale.
