Restauración en RED: Hospitality as a Lever for Local Development

Restauración en RED is a pilot cooperative project aimed at boosting the image of its territories through the hospitality sector. Promoted by six local action groups (Adri-Tierra de Campos, Cuatro Valles, Poeda, Adri-Cerrato Palentino, Adescas, and Adecoar) and supported by LEADER funds from the Rural Development Program of the Castilla y León region, it uses local gastronomy as a spearhead for the tourism sector and as a showcase for their high-quality, differentiated food products. What began as a response to the impact of the pandemic on the hospitality sector and an effort to mitigate the effects of the crisis has evolved into the creation of a guide featuring participating restaurants, several awareness-raising events, participation in the most important sector fairs, and some well-received showcooking events.
