ECOGAN

ECOGAN is a computerized system developed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food in coordination with the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge. It allows the recording of Best Available Techniques (BAT) applied on farms, as well as estimating pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions and resource consumption of a specific farm throughout the production process. It is a pioneering and essential tool for ensuring compliance with emission reduction programs established by regulations in various livestock sectors and for promoting improved environmental performance on farms.
